Bæarbruni á Staðarfelli
In the churchyard at Staðarfell, there is an ancient stone called Hrómundarsteinn (though it is not older than the 17th century). This stone was moved out of its place shortly before the farm burned; during the fire, people saw a tall man who reached up over the hill, and they said it was Hrómundur.

Í kirkjugarðinum á Staðarfelli er fornmannasteinn kallaðr Hrómundarsteinn (þó ekki eldri en frá 17. öld). Þessum steini var eitthvað kipt úr stað skömmu áðr en bærinn brann; en í eldinum sáu menn háfan mann svo að tók upp yfir fellið, og það sögðu menn að verið hefði Hrómundur.
